ABOUT THE CREATOR

Shanan Zickefoose, BSN, RN, CPCP, CMM

Shanan began her permanent makeup career in 2006. In 2010, she earned the highest CPCP score. Shortly after, she served on the SPCP Board of Directors from 2011- 2013.

After graduating from an esteemed private university under the College of Business with her Nursing of Science degree, she opened her medical spa in 2015. After a decade working as a technician, she opened her training institute. In 2017, Shanan was asked to begin teaching the SPCP’s program Train the Trainer and she facilitated the program during every convention and conference as well as online Zoom courses. She provided regular updates to this important program for current and upcoming permanent cosmetic trainers. Following the SPCP trainer member guidelines, she provides counsel and advisement throughout the year to those interested in training as well as those who desire modifications to their training. Shanan has represented our industry by presenting at numerous events both nationally and internationally.

She has served as the Executive Director for the SPCP since January 2023. She has a passion for our organization and her goal is to build strong committees to continue to support permanent makeup safety, excellence, and professional standards. She will continue to work to provide opportunities for members to achieve education, certification, and ethical guidelines.
